“Deloitte was my first job out of university. I started in the Risk Advisory Team in 2012 where I worked for 7 years in Internal Audit and Internal Controls before moving to the IM Advisory Team. Since then I have been working on different regulatory strategy topics in the Investment Management Industry, mainly in the area of consumer protection.”

What do you usually do outside of work hours?

“I stopped having hobbies when I had kids, so I am spending most of my free time with my family ;).”

What would be your advice to encourage young women today to get into consulting?

" Choosing a career in Consulting equals jumping into unknown waters. Every day means new challenges and you will never risk being bored by a routine job. This is exactly what excites me and motivates me to still work as a consultant after more than 12 years in the industry. I advise you to pick a field of expertise that interests you and try to take in as much as knowledge and intelligence as possible in this area, allowing you to become an expert at some stage. Grouped with the practical experience you will gain over the years, and the access to ample networking opportunities, this will enable you to become an excellent consultant. "
