The Mentor Programme 2025

Deloitte Consulting’s Finance Transformation (FT) department is at the heart of the Mentor Programme 2025, offering engagement opportunities for students with an interest in Finance Transformation. Our FT team, consisting of +350 consultants based in Copenhagen and Aarhus, supports clients by advising, optimising, and managing finance functions. The work spans all areas under the CFO, including operational finance, finance optimization, ERP finance, M&A finance, and finance strategy. We collaborate with a broad range of private and public clients, including C25 companies and key public institutions, both nationally and internationally.

As part of the Mentor Programme, you will receive personalized guidance through 1:1 sessions with a mentor from Deloitte’s Finance Transformation team to compass your ambitions and goals. Hereto, you will be invited to educational workshops and social events that will provide you with deep insights into our toolbox and life of a consultant at Deloitte with great opportunities to network with Deloitte professionals and fellow peers.

The Mentor Programme 2025 runs from January to September 2025. Throughout the course of the programme, we have arranged four events that we expect you to commit to attending^*:

• Event 1, ultimo January: Meet & greet | Introduction to the programme and Deloitte
• Event 2, ultimo February: Workshop 1 | Exploring personal and social dynamics
• Event 3, ultimo April: Workshop 2 | Engage and inspire with impact
• Event 4, ultimo August: Grand finale | An evening of cheers and entertainment**

** All events are held in the evening and start at 16:00 earliest.

Practical information

We embrace students on their bachelor’s and master’s degree with interest in all aspects under the CFO’s responsibilities.
To ensure that all participants obtain maximum value from the Mentor Programme 2025, we have limited number of seats. To apply to the programme, you must attach your CV, grade transcript, and a motivational letter touching upon the following questions:

• Why do you wish to participate in the Mentor Programme 2025?
• Which experiences and competences do you bring into the network?
• Which main strengths would you like to bring into play in your future career?

Your motivational letter should be a maximum of an A4 page.

We expect to get back to you shortly after the application deadline. If you are selected to proceed in the application process, you will receive an invitation to a short online interview about your motivation.

The Mentor Programme 2025 is centred around Finance Transformation. However, few mentors from other departments are represented and involved in the programme as well. This involves the following:

• Strategy & Business Design (Monitor) is Deloitte’s strategy practice that combines deep industry insights with cutting-edge methods to help leaders resolve their most critical decisions, drive value, and achieve transformational success. We specialize in end-to-end strategy consulting, helping chief executives and their teams solve their most complex problems by advising on everything from growth and corporate strategies to operating models and cost and capital optimization. We deliver tailored solutions that ensure long-term success and efficiency for our clients.
• At Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Consulting, we provide strategic advice and support to clients throughout the entire merger and acquisition process, from initial due diligence to post-merger integration. We leverage our industry expertise and global network to help clients navigate complex transactions and achieve their business objectives.
