Fun fact

The oldest library on record dates back to the 7th century BC! The Royal Library of Assurbanipal, named after an Assyrian King, had 25,000 clay tablets in its collection. The tablets were classified by subject (government, history, geography, finance...) and were colour-coded to indicate their contents. On some tablets, the last line would be repeated on the first line of the next tablet. Those were some dedicated archivists!
