The Festival of Lights takes place every year around 8 December in Lyon, France. Rooted in a religious tradition dating back to 1852, the event brings together lighting designers and artists from all over the world, unveiling ephemeral works to an amazed audience. In 2019, almost 1.8 million visitors strolled through the city’s streets admiring the work of the talented artists.
