Did you know that the little information boxes that often appear when you google something are based on a giant database known as the Google Knowledge Graph? This graph aggregates information from a number of difference sources, including Wikipedia, and provides structured summaries of the topic of your search, whether that’s a person, company, place, artist, or even a historical event. It’s also the graphs that prompt answers from voice assistants. In 2020, the Google Knowledge Graph contained 500 billion facts on 5 billion different entities!
