Christian Dior Couture encourages Talents to be part of Savoir-Faire & Métiers training courses: Jewelry and Textile Craftsmanship
At Dior, we value and empower our teams to thrive.
Christian Dior Couture proudly highlights two of its Savoir-Faire & Métiers training courses: Jewelry and Textile Craftsmanship. Through programs such as, ‘The Art of Jewelry Creation,’ ‘Tailoring,’ ‘Knitwear,’ and ‘La Maille’, and ‘The Art of Gouache,’ the Dior Learning HQ team supports #DiorTalents in refining their expertise and preserving our tradition of excellence.
Developed in collaboration with leading industry experts, these courses combine theory, hands-on practice, and immersive experiences to uphold the highest standards in craftsmanship.
Hélène Raynaud, Men RTW Director, shares: ‘The ‘Tailoring’ training course is an immersion into the tailoring trade. How proud we are to make a half-jacket with our own hands in two days, and to understand even more the magnificent work of our artisans. Thanks to this training, we were also able to reinforce our technical knowledge, which we will be able to pass on to our Clients.’
Sarah Aït, Junior Business Analyst, Jewelry Division, adds: ‘I had the pleasure of taking part in the ‘The Art of Jewelry Creation’ training course, which gave me a better understanding of the different players and challenges in our sector. I particularly enjoyed the introduction to gemology, from the discovery of the different gem families to the observation of fascinating opals. Above all, I will remember the passion and generosity of Pierre-Marie Bernard, artisan jeweler and professor at the Haute Ecole de Joaillerie, who passed on his know-how to us. I was able to get behind the workbench to make a brass keyring, which will remain the memory of a beautiful moment of sharing knowledge.’
