Die Teams
At Odoo we have 5 main departments:
1. Sales
- Business Advisors: are responsible for getting new Odoo customers : lead analysis and qualification, customers needs analysis, contract signature, … They are dealing with end-users of Odoo. Once the customer signs its contract with a Business Advisor, they stay for 9 months in their portfolio. Then, after 9 months, they fall into the portfolio of the Customer Success Managers.
- Customer Success Managers: in charge of the long term relationship with existing customers. They do the follow-up of customers acquired by the Business Advisors after 9 months. Their main goals are upselling (expanding their customers’ usage of Odoo) and contract renewals.
- Business Partnership Consultant: responsible for the whole sales cycle (initial contact and qualification of the potential partners, understand their companies' profiles, values and activities to make sure it matches with our business model, understand their pain points and business needs, provide Online/Onsite demonstration of the product tailored to customer needs, quote and negotiate conditions). Concretely, a Business Partnership Consultant is dealing directly with System integrator, IT companies and potential resellers from the EMEA region that are willing to adopt Odoo in their solutions portfolio. It's a B2B approach.
- Account Manager: the main point of contact for our different resellers. They are dealing directly with System integrators, IT companies and Resellers from the EMEA region that are adopting Odoo in their solutions portfolio. They have daily calls with our partners to grow their revenue based on Odoo solutions and manage their customer portfolio. As partners’ main contact person at Odoo, they assist them to get new deals and advise them on best practices regarding the methodology to follow for a successful implementation.
2. Developers
In the Research & Development department, they develop the product itself and therefore the apps in it. We have 20 different teams working on different parts of the software: develop apps, the frameworks, security, SaaS (odooSH), DevOps/infrastructure management, etc.
3. Services
Business analysts: project Leaders are responsible for implementing our software solution to the customer's business. They are in direct contact with the clients to help them with the good use of Odoo Software. They analyze their needs and deliver personal training sessions.
Customer support: the team provides support and help to our existing and potential new customers, and our colleagues as well. Their goal is to make our customers happy by giving them a good quality service.
4. Administration
With departments such as Human Resources, Accounting, Office management,...
5. Marketing
Odoo's marketing combines content creation, social media engagement, email marketing, event participation, and data analysis to boost brand visibility, attract new customers, and retain existing ones, driving the company's growth.
