ADM was established in EMEA in 1880 and today we are present in more than 30 countries and count 10,000+ employees. 

In 2020 we had already 51 processing plants, 19 R&D labs and 40 port operations. Since then we have acquired other companies, which has increased our footprint in the region.

At ADM, we work closely with trade associations, growers, governments, non-government organizations (NGOs) and the communities in which we operate to improve the quality and availability of crops in the global supply chain, benefiting the lives of farmers and communities that grow such crops. In the EMEA region, ADM is an active member of a number of trade associations including: FEDIOL (the EU vegetable oil and protein meal industry association), Starch Europe, Food & Drink Europe, the European Biodiesel Board and COCERAL (the European association representing the trade in cereals, rice, feedstuffs, oilseeds, olive oil, oils and fats and agrosupply).
