The Evolving Mobility Landscape
Gilles Roucolle, our Managing partner in Europe, and Sumati Sharma CA, Partner in our Aviation practice, underscore the need to boost women’s representation in mobility based on a survey by Oliver Wyman and the International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA).
Women in aviation report more negative experiences, slower career advancement, and fewer opportunities to take on senior or challenging roles. As a result, women are more likely to be pushed out of the industry because of adverse experiences.
This shortfall is bad for women — and it is bad for the industry. It is now widely recognized that all forms of underrepresentation of certain groups of people reduce the available talent pool and hinder performance.
