💜 Women in Leadership: Meet Su Leggett 💜

As we continue our Women in Leadership series, we’re excited to spotlight Su Leggett, Chief of Staff, Product & Technology; a leader who believes that staying true to yourself is the key to success. Su’s journey has been shaped by the advice of those around her: grow, learn, but always stay true to your values. Though it took time to fully embrace, she now leads with that philosophy every day. Here are some powerful lessons from Su’s leadership experience: ✨ Your perspective is your superpower. Throughout her career, Su often found herself as the only woman in the room. It wasn’t always easy to share a different viewpoint, but she realized that a fresh perspective is an asset, not a weakness. ✨ Leadership isn’t about a title, it’s about showing up. It’s not about power; it’s about stepping forward with positivity and accountability, ready to tackle challenges head-on. ✨ Your impact is bigger than you think. The way you show up, the decisions you make, and the support you offer to others can leave a lasting mark, so make sure your actions are ones you can be proud of. Su’s story is a reminder to all of us: embrace your voice, lead with integrity, and never underestimate your impact. 💪💜 Stay tuned as we continue celebrating the amazing women shaping Atolls! 👏 #WomenInLeadership #StrongerTogether #UnitedByDifferences #Atolls #destinationsfordecisions #IWD

💜 Celebrating Women in Leadership at Atolls 💜

At Atolls, we’re celebrating the incredible women in leadership who inspire us every day! 🚀💡 As part of our Women in Leadership series, we’re spotlighting Lara Rodriguez Martin, VP of People & Culture, and her journey to success. Lara’s leadership style is rooted in authenticity, resilience, and balance; qualities that have shaped her career and the way she leads. Here’s what she’s learned along the way: 🔹 Leadership isn’t one-size-fits-all. Early in her career, Lara faced moments of doubt, feeling pressured to lead like the male role models around her. But she realized that being a great leader doesn’t mean fitting into someone else’s mold, it means embracing your own strengths and making space for different leadership styles. 🔹 The right support system makes all the difference. At work, Lara is surrounded by a team that shares her values and takes ownership. At home, she and her husband split responsibilities equally, proving that career success doesn’t have to come at the cost of family life. 🔹 Boundaries & adaptability are key. Whether it’s joining a call from the playground or handling work during nap time, Lara has learned to blend technology with boundaries, knowing when to plug in and when to fully unplug so she can be present in both work and family life. Her advice to other women in leadership? Own your strengths, trust your leadership style, and take up space. The more we lead authentically, the more we pave the way for future generations. 💪💜 👀 Stay tuned as we continue showcasing the incredible women shaping Atolls! #StrongerTogether #UnitedByDifferences #WomenInLeadership #MakeItGreat #MoveLearnChange #Atolls

🌱 Anthony’s Journey: From Intern to Junior Business Operations Specialist 🚀

When Anthony Benali Reina started as a student intern, he wasn’t just looking for a job—he wanted a place where he could learn, contribute, and grow. From day one, the team in Madrid welcomed him, making him feel like more than just an intern. He was encouraged to share ideas, take on challenges, and push himself beyond the typical student experience. At first, some tasks felt repetitive, but Anthony saw them as opportunities. Instead of just going through the motions, he looked for ways to improve processes and bring in fresh ideas. One of those ideas—a tool he developed—ended up being a real asset to the CBO team. What stood out to him the most was that his input wasn’t just heard; it was valued. “I was able to try new things and was given free will. When I proved myself, I was encouraged even more to do more and was given more support.” That mindset of always looking for the next challenge has stayed with him. Now, as a Junior Business Operations Specialist, he continues to push himself, always striving for more responsibility and growth. For Anthony, every new role is a chance to learn and create something meaningful. If you’re someone who thrives on challenges and wants to do more than just “get experience,” we’re always looking for interns and juniors ready to take that next step. Black History Month - UK @ Atolls

🎉 Happy Black History Month to our UK Atollians! 🖤 This October, we celebrated Black History Month in the UK with pride and purpose. Our mission goes beyond a single month—it’s about ongoing growth, learning, and embracing diversity as a strength all year round. Daniel Adjei and Laura O. joined forces on Atolls Radio to dive deep into what Black History Month truly means and to open up conversations on key topics like unconscious bias, allyship, and the importance of embedding these initiatives into our culture every day. At Atolls, #UnitedByDifferences isn’t just a value; it’s our commitment to building a workplace where everyone feels heard, seen, and empowered. Addressing unconscious bias and strengthening allyship are essential steps in ensuring that everyone can thrive and contribute in an environment that respects and values their unique perspectives. Let’s keep these conversations going! Every dialogue, every shared experience, and every act of allyship makes us stronger as a team and as a community. Black History Month may be celebrated in October in the UK, but the dedication to inclusivity and understanding is something we carry forward daily. #StrongerTogether #UnitedByDifferences #BlackHistoryMonth #Atolls

🌟 Atolls Insights: Celebrating Authenticity and Cultural Sensitivity 🌟

We recently wrapped up an amazing company fest in Barcelona, where over 850 Atollians came together for learning, connection, and celebration. Two standout sessions focused on embracing our unique identities and fostering cultural sensitivity in the workplace. ✨ Karla Maryed Blanco Rodriguez kicked things off with her inspiring talk, “Embracing My Unique Identity,” which explored the importance of staying true to ourselves. Karla reminded us that authenticity is key—not just for personal growth but for building trust and stronger relationships. She guided us through how self-awareness can lead to more genuine connections at work, encouraging us to reflect on our values, strengths, and even our quirks. Karla also shared some practical tools like journaling and mindfulness to help us all discover our true selves. It was a great reminder that when we show up as our authentic selves, we create a more trusting, open, and supportive environment. 🧠💡 🌍 Edson Chilundo followed up with a thought-provoking session on “The Importance of Cultural Sensitivity.” Edson spoke about how language—especially English—can both unite and divide us in ways we may not always realize. He emphasized how accents, cultural backgrounds, and even the way we dress can shape our workplace experiences. Edson’s message was clear: we need to approach these differences with empathy and understanding, ensuring that everyone feels seen, valued, and supported. His session was a powerful reminder that true inclusion means being mindful of the (hidden) diverse experiences that shape each one of us. 💬 At Atolls, these conversations aren’t just checkboxes—we believe that embracing individuality and fostering cultural sensitivity are at the heart of creating an inclusive, empowered workplace. It’s all about building a space where every Atollian can thrive and feel a true sense of belonging. Big thanks to Karla and Edson for leading these essential discussions! 🚀 Stay tuned for more in our Atolls Insights series as we continue exploring the topics that shape our culture and community. 🌍 hashtag#StrongerTogether hashtag#UnitedByDifferences hashtag#CulturalSensitivity hashtag#AtollsCommunity hashtag#WorkplaceCulture hashtag#TeamAtolls
