Get to know our Global Employer Services-TAX Team !

Our Global Employer Services (GES) department offers a wide range of tax services such as (i) tax solutions to multinational and large organizations concerning international employment, expatriate administration, compensation strategies and HR related consulting, as well as (ii) tax assistance for SME companies and private clients (entrepreneurs, HNWI – dealing with tax, family governance and gift/inheritance tax matters).

As a Trainee/Junior in our Team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in various type of client assignments, ranging from rewards strategy, Due Diligence projects to wealth planning and tax advisory services for private clients.

Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow personally and professionally, discover new challenges and build your relationships with the clients, your teams members from Luxembourg but also from foreign offices with who you will be able to work on cross-border opportunities.

Below a non-exhaustive list of projects you could be involved if you join our Team:

  • Assisting a client with the contribution of shares held into foreign companies into its Luxembourg based holding company, dealing with the relevant tax, accounting and legal obligations in collaboration with our colleagues from the Deloitte network.
  • Assisting with the set-up of the envisaged reorganization of client's structures depending on the objectives of the clients: identification of the steps to be performed, description of the related tax implications as well as coordination with the relevant stakeholders to perform the restructuring (e.g. legal advisors, accountants, etc.).
  • Assisting with the design of the remuneration package for employees (covering related tax and social security obligations).
  • Assisting with the realization of Due Diligence in the context of M&A transactions aiming to identify any tax/social security implications that should be relevant for the buyer.
  • Assisting our clients to assess the gift tax and inheritance tax implications in a given family context (including cross-border implications if assets or family members are located in others jurisdictions).

Our Team is looking for motivated, curious and talented new members, if you are seeking for an exciting opportunity and want to be part of something great, do not hesitate to contact us and apply!
