Hi! PARIS

Hi! PARIS is an interdisciplinary center for research and education devoted to AI and Data Science. 

Nested in the heart of the Palaiseau campus, France’s largest scientific research hub, Hi! PARIS combines the expertise of IP Paris’ schools, HEC Paris and Inria to create a new international champion in data science and business.

Hi! PARIS has been created in 2020 with the remarkable support of Corporate Donors, L’Oréal, Capgemini, TotalEnergies, Kering, Rexel and VINCI.

On a larger scale than ever before, Hi! PARIS will conduct breakthrough and multidisciplinary research on AI and Data Science, while simultaneously developing new education programs and fostering innovation to help answer the major challenges linked to technological transformation and its impact on companies and society at large.

GOAL OF Hi! PARIS

The goal of Hi! PARIS is to enhance research and training in AI, data science, and business.

The Center is a unique space for disruptive technology, education and innovation. It operates in key research areas, covering a wide range of disciplines: basic AI methods, AI applied to business and societal implications (ethics, health, climate, regulation). It also helps to establish attractive Master’s programs offering significant opportunities, develop innovation programs and organize Data challenges. 

For the President of Institut Polytechnique de Paris: “The objective is to create a world leader in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Thanks to the excellence of our research and education, this Center will work on the frontiers of science in order to develop an Artificial Intelligence and Data Science that are responsible and ethical. Hi! PARIS will contribute to the development of a digital sovereignty of France and Europe, guaranteeing the competitiveness of its enterprises, the efficiency of its administrations, and the quality of life of its citizens.”

According to the General Director & Dean of HEC Paris: “The success of our project is based on the challenge of achieving multidisciplinarity at the very highest level, relying on the combination of complementary and recognized fields of expertise of HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique de Paris, but also on the support of major actors in the economic world. Hi! PARIS is composed of affiliated professors and chair holders, an operational team and an engineering team to support its researchers in all stages of their projects. Hi! PARIS also benefit from the support and advice of a Scientific Advisory Board, an Academic Operating Committee, a Governance Committee.
