Hi! PARIS

Hi! PARIS is an interdisciplinary center for research, education and innovation devoted to AI and Data Science. 

Nested in the heart of the Palaiseau campus, France’s largest scientific research hub, Hi! PARIS combines the expertise of IP Paris’ schools, HEC Paris and Inria to create a new international champion in data science and business.

Hi! PARIS has been created in 2020 with the remarkable support of Corporate Donors, L’Oréal, Capgemini, TotalEnergies, KERING, Rexel, VINCI, and Schneider Electric.

On a larger scale than ever before, Hi! PARIS conducts breakthrough and multidisciplinary research on AI and Data Science, while simultaneously developing new education programs and fostering innovation to help answer the major challenges linked to technological transformation and its impact on companies and society at large.

Exponential growth in the volume of Data and Artificial Intelligence capabilities have created a new paradigm for scientific methods and are transforming all sectors of the economy. Hi! PARIS is a unique space devoted to research, education and innovation.

Europe is currently in need of world-class research that is both ethical and effective, as well as training and an innovative ecosystem in the field of AI and Data Science. This issue is crucial in developing technologies related to AI, especially given the institutions already in the English-speaking world and Asia. If France is to be endowed with the means to meet the growing needs of companies and society and take up these major scientific challenges, then the time has come for companies and academic institutions to band together for the sake of progress.

The Center conducts breakthrough multidisciplinary research, provides the economy with the best talent and foster a vibrant eco-system for innovation.

For the President of Institut Polytechnique de Paris: “The objective is to create a world leader in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Thanks to the excellence of our research and education, this Center will work on the frontiers of science in order to develop an Artificial Intelligence and Data Science that are responsible and ethical. Hi! PARIS will contribute to the development of a digital sovereignty of France and Europe, guaranteeing the competitiveness of its enterprises, the efficiency of its administrations, and the quality of life of its citizens.”

According to the Dean of HEC Paris: “The success of our project is based on the challenge of achieving multidisciplinarity at the very highest level, relying on the combination of complementary and recognized fields of expertise of HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique de Paris, but also on the support of major actors in the economic world. Hi! PARIS is composed of affiliated professors and chair holders, an operational team and an engineering team to support its researchers in all stages of their projects. Hi! PARIS also benefit from the support and advice of a Scientific Advisory Board, an Academic Operating Committee, a Governance Committee.
