Coca-Cola graduate schemes – entry-level jobs at a glance

Whatever your degree, whether it’s business, marketing or engineering, the beverage industry has plenty of opportunities for graduates, and where better to start than the famous Coca-Cola! The Coca-Cola Company distributes products through a series of separate, official bottling partners. The main two operating in Europe are Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC). Let’s take a look at graduate opportunities they have to offer.

The Coca-Cola Company

Of the three companies we’re looking at here, The Coca-Cola Company employs the fewest people in Europe (16,000 vs 33,000 at each of the others), so graduate jobs don’t come up as often. However, there are certainly specific graduate positions available, especially if you’re looking for a career that’ll take you abroad. Some areas of focus include customer service, engineering, HR and operations. In each case, a Bachelor’s in a related field is required, such as business, commerce, supply chain and engineering.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

CCEP has three- to four-year graduate programmes in business technology, HR, sales and marketing, and supply chain. These are designed to prepare you for leadership positions following thorough preparation in management techniques and core business skills. The programme consists of three or four rotations across relevant areas of the company, and you’ll likely have a development project to work on in addition to your day-to-day work in your rotation team.

In addition to various entry-level jobs designed for graduates in marketing, sales, administration and more, CCHBC also has a dedicated programme designed to fast-track your career to a management position. The RISE programme lasts for two years and includes several rotations across departments to give you an overview of all the critical areas of business. You’ll undergo leadership training with experienced mentors and have the opportunity to apply for an internal role at the end of the programme.
